Guidelines for the right of withdrawal

We have 30-day return conditions, which means you have 30 days after receipt of the item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You must also have the receipt or proof of purchase.

If the return is accepted, we will send a return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send the package. Items sent back to us without a return request first will not be accepted.

Damage and issues
Inspect the order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the problem and resolve it.


Exceptions/items that cannot be returned
Certain product types cannot be returned, for example perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care products (for example beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. You can contact us if you have questions or concerns about a specific item.

We unfortunately cannot accept returns for sale items or gift cards.


Exchange
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and, once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


14-day cooling-off period in the EU
Notwithstanding the above, if the item is shipped to the EU, you have the right to cancel or return the order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification. As above, the item must be in the same condition as you received it, unused, with tags and in the original packaging. You must also have the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and inform you whether the refund has been approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded to the original payment method within 10 business days.Remember that it may also take some time before the bank or credit card company processes and posts the refund.

Right of Withdrawal and Returns – Dobben.no

If the purchase does not meet your expectations, we are here to help. Read the guidelines carefully, as different situations may lead to different solutions.

1. Exchange

We do not offer exchanges.
If you want a different product, do the following:

  • Start a return for the product you purchased
  • Place a new order for the product you want

2. Right of Withdrawal

You have 14 days from receiving the product to notify us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.

The withdrawal period allows you to examine the product as you would in a physical store.If the product is handled beyond this, and this leads to reduced value, we may deduct from the refund amount.

Return requests received after 14 days may be rejected.

This section applies only to the right of withdrawal and does not affect your rights in case of complaints.

How to return

Attach the order number and proof of purchase.

If the return is approved, we will send you information about the return address and how the product should be sent back.

Customers outside Norway/EU cover the return shipping costs themselves.

Returns are not accepted if:

  • The item is returned without prior approval
  • The item is sent as cash on delivery
  • The item is sent to the wrong address
  • The returned item does not match the order, or the condition has been misjudged
  • The return deadline has been exceeded

You are responsible for the item until it is received by us. We recommend using trackable shipping and keeping the shipping receipt.

Return packaging

The item must be returned in its original packaging and securely packed.
Missing or damaged original packaging (except plastic wrap) or missing accessories may reduce the refund amount.

Condition of the product upon return

You are responsible for any loss in value due to:

  • Incorrect use
  • Lack of care
  • Manipulation
  • Handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature and function of the product

Refund

When we have received and inspected the product, the purchase amount (including shipping costs you paid at purchase) will be refunded.

The refund will be made to the same payment method used at the time of order. Your bank may take a few days to process the refund.

We may withhold part of the amount or deny the refund if the product is damaged, used incorrectly, or missing parts.

Return shipping fees

If the customs authorities request information and you do not provide it within the deadline, the package may be returned to us.
This is not considered a right of withdrawal.

We credit the order when the item is returned, but return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund. The fees vary based on location.

3. Replacement for defective products (Warranty claim)

If the item is defective within the warranty period, we replace it free of charge.

We may request that the item be returned for assessment. We cover the return shipping cost for warranty claims.

The product must be returned complete and securely packaged.

We may reject the warranty claim if the damage is due to misuse or improper handling.

Our assessment of the product's condition and whether the defect is covered by the warranty is final.
